In 2027, 1 May, 8 May and Christmas Day fall on a Saturday, and 15 August on a Sunday. Easter Monday is 29 March, Ascension Day 6 May and Whit Monday 17 May.
The two bridges
Ascension Day (Thursday 6 May) and Armistice Day (Thursday 11 November) invite a bridge on the Friday. With the bridge, the office closes on Wednesday at 5 pm and reopens on Monday at 9 am: 112 hours without an answer. Without it, the longest closures are the 88-hour long weekends, such as Easter or All Saints’ Day.
