Best AI chatbots for hotels in 2026: 7 options compared
Seven AI chatbots for hotel and rental websites, with Javo first, the published price basis of each, where each is the better choice and when not to choose Javo.
Seven AI chatbots are worth checking for a hotel or rental website. Five publish a price. Two ask you to contact them.
A hotel chatbot has three jobs: answer guest questions from approved information, send a guest toward the booking engine or the reservation team, and refuse politely when it does not know a date or a rate.
About this comparison: Javo publishes this article and is one of the options listed, in first place. Placement reflects our focus on website enquiries, not an independent performance ranking. We checked the public vendor pages named in the sources on 16 October 2026. We did not run a head-to-head product benchmark. Prices are in US dollars unless marked €. Billing units differ, and the vendor can change them at any time.
How we chose and ordered the options
We listed vendors whose official pages describe a product for this job and whose pages we could read on 16 October 2026. We did not run a head-to-head test. Javo is first because Javo publishes this list, not because we measured it as the most accurate. After Javo, the order follows how closely each option matches the use case. For hotels and rentals we also looked at which channels each option covers (website, messaging, booking engine) and whether prices are quoted per property or per room.

When not to choose Javo
Do not choose Javo if you need guest messaging on WhatsApp or other channels, voice, or live integration with your booking engine or property management system. HiJiffy lists those on its Pro and Premium plans, and Asksuite lists several messaging channels. Do not choose Javo for a single small property if a lower-priced plan already covers your website questions.
Javo is a website agent set up for you at €600 per month per product. It does not include a shared inbox for your own team, a tool your team configures and maintains or a CRM or customer database.
What to test on a hotel or rental site
Write down the ten questions guests ask most, such as check-in and check-out times, parking, pets, cancellation and breakfast. Ask each option those questions on your own pages. Then ask two questions the pages cannot answer, such as whether a given date is free. A good answer is a clear refusal and an offer to pass on contact details.
Ask each vendor whether live availability and prices are connected or only described, and who updates the answers when your rates change.
